Security Officer
REPORTS TO: General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Security Officer is responsible for carrying out Security operations at Lahontan, beautiful North Lake Tahoe’s only private gated golf course community. You would be facilitating communication with 509 home site owners, enforcement for the entire Community. You must be positive in attitude, ensure a clean ensure a clean and neat presentation and represent professionalism and accommodation to the membership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California Driver’s License
- High School graduate or GED
- Secure and maintain the Private Patrol Security license.
JOB DUTIES
- Assist in the operations of the gatehouse, community patrols, safety and community presence.
- Work toward a great initial reception at the gatehouse, where receiving a member or guest of a member is politely, courteously and professionally handled.
- Assist in the enforcement of Design Review Guidelines.
- Promote vehicular safety in the community, monitor traffic as needed, issue traffic Notices of Noncompliance as required, and maintain records of violations and violators.
- Exhibit good communication skills with staff and membership.
- Be available, visible and approachable to the membership.
- Provide transportation shuttle service to local ski areas and airports.
- Provide maintenance and upkeep to Security vehicles.
- Maintain gatehouse in a neat, orderly fashion; ensure a clean presentation for the mailroom.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.
- Other duties as needed.
COMPENSATION
- Full Time, Year-Round Position
- Salary: $23,000 - $32,800
- Two weeks paid vacation with additional time for training and education

Design Review and Administrative Assistant
Assistant needed to join dynamic team in fulfilling the responsibilities of community management and the integral design review process.
Experience with Homeowners’ Associations and a background in architecture/construction desired
- Must be able to perform day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks such as word processing, managing files and records, phones, and other office duties
- Strong communication (verbal and writing) skills and computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PP, FileMaker Pro)
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a dedicated team
- Full time, year-round position
- Salary Range: $13-$15 hour
- Approx. 18 paid days off (including 6 Federal Holidays)
